With Onto you’ve got the flexibility to include charging in your subscription! Unless you choose a no-charging option, your subscription will give you access to 20,000+ chargers across the UK, and beyond.
Whatever you choose, we’re here to make your charging life as hassle-free as possible. You will still be able to access our partner networks if and when you need to with our charging bolt-on:
- Public Charging bolt-on (including Shell Recharge aggregated network and Tesla Superchargers for Tesla cars): £40
How to add the public charging bolt-on?
The Public Charging bolt-on can be added at any point through the ‘Bolt-on’ section of ‘My Account’.
Please note, these bolt-ons will be visible in My Account web and in your User Hire Agreement after your next renewal, but will not initially be visible in the mobile app - we're working on it, it will be available soon.
How does it work?
Each car is supplied with Shell Recharge card with instructions for how to be added if not purchased during the booking process. Once you purchase it, a member of our customer support team will activate it for you, which will take up to 2 working days.
What happens if your card is lost, stolen or damaged?
If your Shell Recharge charging card is lost or stolen, you must notify us as soon as possible, so that we can cancel it. Please complete this form to request a replacement. You will be responsible for the cost of £15 for the replacement card.
