How your car is serviced

To keep your car safe and roadworthy, it needs to be serviced on a regular basis by fully qualified technicians. 

  • One of our team will get in touch with you when your car is due its service.
  • We’ll normally ask you to get your car to the service. As we always work with local providers, you shouldn't have to travel far.
  • Depending on what your car’s manufacturer recommends, we will service it either once or twice a year, or after it has completed a certain number of miles. You can find more details about this in the car’s handbook. 

Choose the service that suits you

You will normally have the option to choose a ‘While You Wait’ or ‘Drop and Leave’ service. 

While You Wait - This normally takes about an hour. You simply wait at the service centre for the duration of the appointment.
Drop and Leave - You drop your vehicle off at the centre and pick it up once the service is complete. Usually these appointments are available sooner than ‘While You Wait’ appointments.

Do you need to pay anything?

You’ll be glad to know that the cost of servicing is included in your subscription. Therefore you won’t have to pay for anything, unless damage is found that’s outside our fair wear and tear policy.

Can you get a courtesy car?

If you need a courtesy car while yours is being serviced, please request this when our team calls you to arrange your service. 

We can also discuss with you if it’s possible for the service centre to collect your car and drop it back after the appointment. This usually depends on your location.
